Refund Policy

Effective August 16, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to fees paid for Arlo subscriptions and related paid Service features. It forms part of the Terms of Service. If an order, enterprise agreement, or applicable law provides different mandatory rights, that document or law controls to the extent required.

1. General rule

All fees are charged in advance for the selected billing period and are non-refundable, except where this Policy, a written agreement signed by Arlo, or non-waivable applicable law expressly requires otherwise. This includes fees for partially used billing periods, unused seats, unused usage allowance, implementation work, add-ons, and periods during which the Service was available but not used.

2. Cancellation

You may cancel a recurring subscription before its next renewal through the billing controls made available for your account. Cancellation stops future renewal charges after the end of the current paid period. It does not undo a charge already made, shorten the current paid period, or create a right to a prorated refund. You remain responsible for all charges incurred before cancellation takes effect.

3. Trials, promotions, and free access

Free trials, promotional credits, discounts, beta access, and no-charge periods have no cash value, may be modified or withdrawn at any time, and are not redeemable, transferable, or refundable. When a trial converts to a paid plan, the applicable fees become due according to the plan shown at checkout or in the order.

4. Refund requests

Where a refund may be available, the account holder must submit a request through the support channel associated with the account within fourteen days after the charge. The request must identify the account, charge date, amount, invoice or payment reference, and the basis for the request. Submitting a request does not pause payment obligations or guarantee a refund.

5. Eligibility review

Arlo may review account activity, payment history, plan selection, use of the Service, charge history, and whether the request involves fraud, abuse, a duplicate charge, a technical billing error, or a legal requirement. We may approve, deny, or provide a partial refund only where permitted by this Policy and applicable law. Refund decisions are made in good faith and do not waive any future right.

6. Exclusions

Except where required by law or a written agreement, refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with AI outputs, website performance, conversion outcomes, visitor behavior, third-party services, website changes, configuration choices, failure to use the Service, failure to cancel before renewal, temporary interruptions, or features that are changed, limited, or discontinued under the Terms. Fees associated with usage overages, taxes, payment processing, chargebacks, third-party products, and professional services are also non-refundable unless law requires otherwise.

7. Billing errors and duplicate charges

If you reasonably believe a charge was unauthorized, duplicated, or made in error, notify us promptly through the support channel associated with your account. We may correct verified billing errors by refund, account credit, or another lawful method. Do not submit a chargeback before providing us a reasonable opportunity to investigate a billing error.

8. Chargebacks and payment disputes

Initiating an unsupported chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute may result in immediate suspension of the Service, recovery efforts, and charges for reasonable collection costs where permitted by law. Nothing in this Policy prevents you from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived. We may contest improper payment disputes with evidence of account creation, plan selection, access, use, communications, and acceptance of these terms.

9. Method and timing

Approved refunds are ordinarily issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and financial institution. We are not responsible for delays outside our control, foreign-exchange differences, intermediary fees, or payment-provider policies. Account credits, where offered, are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and subject to the applicable plan terms.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may change this Policy by posting an updated version with a new effective date. The version in effect when a charge is made generally applies to that charge, subject to applicable law and any written agreement.
